Sylveon is the newest Pokemon in Pokemon Unite. The Fairy Pokemon was released overpowered and got nerfed in patch 1.2.1.6, just two days after. The nerf reduces Sylveon’s damage on both Hyper Voice and Mystical Fire.

However, even after the nerf, Sylveon is still a great unit in Pokemon Unite. The Generation 6 Pokemon excels in both offense and defense, and trainers can utilize Sylveon’s skills in a lot of different ways. Sylveon Best Builds

Best Held Items For Sylveon

• Choice Specs
• Wise Glasses
• Shell Bell
• Buddy Barrier
• Focus Band

Choice Specs and Wise Glasses are a must-have offensive item for Sylveon. For the third item, players can choose between three options: Shell Bell, Buddy Barrier, and Focus Band. All three items are defensive and will increase Sylveon’s survivability.

Best Battle Items For Sylveon

• Eject Button – Allows the Pokemon to move quickly in a direction of their choosing. This is useful for executing attacks or getting out of harm’s way.

Sylveon’s Sustain AOE Build

Moveset

• Hyper Voice
• Draining Kiss

For this build, players can choose Hyper Voice and Draining Kiss. Hyper Voice offers AoE damage where Sylveon will attack the enemies for several seconds. This skill is amazing if players are facing several enemies. It’s also a great skill to finish a group of Wild Pokemons. If trainers use Shell Bell, then Sylveon will constantly heal in the duration. It’s important to note that this skill needs a lot of aiming to utilize properly. So, players shouldn’t use it mindlessly.

For the second skill, trainers can opt for Draining Kiss. This is a sure-hit skill that locks on an opponent. If players maintain close range with the opponent, this skill will rebound up to three times. In all three times, Sylveon will both damage the enemy and heal itself. A small “heart” mark can be seen behind Sylveon as an indicator for the three rebounds. However, if players move too far from the enemy, the skill will end.

The combo of these skills grants Sylveon a major sustain. Sylveon will constantly heal and damage while maintaining a safe distance from the opponents.

Sylveon’s Single-Target Attacker Build

• Calm Mind

Unlike Hyper Voice, Mystical Fire is a single-target skill. With it, players can dash and chase the opponent. It also locks on an enemy, so trainers don’t have to manually aim the skill (although they still need to aim the dash). Mystical Fire is excellent in a one-on-one fight but falls short in a group fight.

Calm Mind can be utilized for the second skill. This ability enhances Sylveon’s Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Movement Speed. This allows Sylveon to further chase an enemy when they run from Mystical Fire’s range. After level 12, this skill also nullifies the first enemy’s hit. Proper timing allows Sylveon to escape possible ganking and burst damage.

Not only a single-target chaser, but Sylveon can also use this build defensively. With Assault Vest, Buddy Barrier, and Focus Band, Sylveon can withstand a lot of damage, keeping their teammates safe in team fights.
