On the July 15 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Camille Grammer managed to turn her relationship with Kyle Richards around. The two women were on the outs since last season, but Camille extended an olive branch that started the women on a path towards repairing their friendship.
Camille Grammer starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a member of the main cast for two seasons. During that time, she made quite an impression on fans as the wife of famed actor, Kelsey Grammer. The former dancer and actress was part of the first batch of main housewives. While the 51-year-old has made sporadic appearances since leaving the show after season two as a “friend of the housewives” and as a guest, she will always be remembered for her air of entitlement.
On the July 15 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Grammer approached Kyle with her tail between her legs. She hadn’t spoken to the rest of the women since the blowout reunion episode five months prior, but wanted to dip her toe into the social group once more. To repair the friendship, Camillie reached out to Kyle and invited her for a drink in her Malibu home.
The old pals started off friendly enough, but got down to the nitty-gritty rather quickly. On the former dancer’s deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Kyle revealed she hadn’t spoken with Camille since she last alienated the women at the reunion. Camille lost her friendships with the other housewives after sticking up for Lisa Vanderpump and calling them witches. The women had an awkward silence, but were eventually able to unload their true feelings. Kyle’s main issue was Camille’s Twitter behavior, where she posted and liked mean tweets about the rest of the girls. Camille explained she was extremely hurt and it caused her to lash out. But she doubled down in her confessional and admitted that she did think the women were acting like witches. Fans saw a glimpse of the old Camille while she tried to defend her poor decisions, but she did circle back around to a humble apology. By taking accountability, Camille was able to move forward with Kyle and mend their friendship.
Fans were surprised that Kyle still cared for Camille. However, they felt that if the former housewife were genuinely open to fixing the issues with the other ladies, they would be open to it too. Kyle even offered to facilitate the meetings. Later in the episode, Lisa Rinna walked up to Grammer and called her an “asshole,” which makes it pretty clear that not all the ladies are interested in reconciliation.
