The gaming chair experts at Secretlab have launched a new metal RGB-lit desk with a built-in magnetic cable and workspace management ecosystem. Secretlab’s award-winning gaming chairs have been around the gaming industry for many years. The company collaborates with numerous gaming industry mainstays, producing bespoke lines of special edition chairs modeled after popular esports teams and video game franchises.
Releasing today is the Secretlab MAGNUS Metal Desk, complete with a customizable RGB display, cable management tray, and swappable MAGPAD. Secretlab’s first desk is magnetic and incorporates what it calls a “Magnetic Ecosystem” thanks to its steel chassis. Magnetic accessories that can attach to the desk, such as cable anchors, will be available at launch and more are in development. The top of the desk has a MAGPAD, a magnetic leatherette desk mat that can be swapped out for other designs. Currently, Secretlab has two special edition MAGPADs based on esports teams Cloud9 and Team Liquid.
Its RGB array sits at the back of the desk, right before the cable management tray. Secretlab’s MAGNUS sits flush against the wall because of the cable tray and is the perfect height for Secretlab chairs to rest under. It is 59 inches long, 27.5 inches wide, and stands at 29 inches tall in the standard model; a smaller 47-inch version will launch at another date. It’s not clear how much this beast of a desk will cost customers, but Secretlab chairs generally retail at around $400, so it likely won’t come cheap.
