A new update will allow players to invite companions to move into the Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact. This guide will show players how they can invite them. The Serenitea Pot realm feature allows players to create their own homes inside of a pocket dimension. Inside, players can place furniture, decide on the design of their homes, and earn content based on how much effort they put into their homes. With games like Animal Crossing New Horizons coming to a close, players have been looking for a replacement, and Genshin Impact is working to make that a reality. In a future update, players will be able to bring over their companions to live inside of their Serenitea Pot. This guide will show players how they can invite them.

Players might have dozens of playable characters available that they don’t know what to do with. This new feature will go live on June 9th and will allow players to bring in a maximum of 8 companions into the Serenitea Pot. The higher the trust rank, the more characters players can invite. Players will be able to unlock the ability to invite up to 5 characters in rank 5 and a maximum of 8 later down the line. Here is how players can start to invite their companions into this world.

How To Invite Companions Into The Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact

This update will go live on June 9th. From then on, players can head over to the Furnishing menu within the Serenitea Pot. This is the location where players are able to place buildings, animals, and landscapes. There will now be an option to choose a Companion from the list. This character will begin to earn Companionship EXP the longer they are present. The more Adeptal Energy the player has, the faster they will earn EXP. As players begin to unlock more Trust Ranks, they will be able to bring in more characters. This is a great way for those characters that are collecting dust can get something to do.

For those players who use the Wish banner often, this new Serenitea Pot mechanic allows players to use these characters that otherwise wouldn’t be used. At most, players will just need a single character for each element available. Even for the most casual player, they may have well over 15 characters available. The game needs to continue adding new passive mechanics to give these characters something to do. It will be interesting to see what they do next.
