Disney’s The Mandolorian is an unprecedented hit that no one saw coming, and now fans can’t get enough of it. Riding high on the popularity and success of the show, Disney has already announced numerous more shows, both live-action and animated, set in the Star Wars Universe. Some of these will be related to the events of The Mandalorian, such as the Ahsoka Tano series and Rangers Of The New Republic. Others will focus on the many individuals that have made appearances in a Star Wars movie at one point or another, such as Lando and Andor from Rogue One.

Many of the characters in The Mandalorian were taken directly from the fan-beloved Clone Wars animated series. These characters have decades and decade’s worth of history already written, and it would be a waste on Disney’s part to not bring them to the big screens in the form of spin-off shows.

10 Bo-Katan Kryze And Her Team

The Mandalorian 10 Potential SpinOffs

Bo-Katan and her crew extended a helping hand to Mando on multiple occasions during the second season. Her prime objective has always been to recapture the homeworld of the Mandalorians – Mandalore, and it’s a storyline that should definitely be expanded on further. Things between her and Mando were left on an awkward note as Mando unintentionally won the Dark Saber in combat, and it will be interesting to see how she plans on retrieving it rightfully. Canonically speaking she is destined to become the Mand’alor, what remains to be seen is how she gets there.

9 Cobb Vanth

The Mandalorian 10 Potential SpinOffs

Cobb Vanth as a character hasn’t had as much screentime on The Mandalorian as some others, only appearing in one episode so far after his introduction in the second season. But what little time the plot did focus on him was spent well fleshing out his backstory as The Marshal and how he came across the legendary Boba Fett armor. Although he gives up the said armor in the very same episode, his story can still potentially continue as the sole protector of his town Mos Pelgo.

8 Ahsoka Tano

The Mandalorian 10 Potential SpinOffs

It didn’t take too long for Disney to announce an Ahsoka Tano series soon after her first live-action debut in the second season. It was bound to happen from the start, as a character she is too important and fan loved to not be given more screen time.

And if the audience and critic reaction to Rosario Dawson’s portrayal of the famous Clone Wars character has proven anything, it is that people can’t wait to get more of her.

7 Moff Gideon

The Mandalorian 10 Potential SpinOffs

First in Breaking Bad, then in The Boys and then The Mandolorian, actor Giancarlo Esposito has certainly played some intense antagonistic roles in his career. The ferocity he brings to the character of Moff Gideon is simply breathtaking and has already made him one of the most iconic villains in the Star Wars. Although the character itself is an original creation of the show, his weapon of choice, the Darksaber has a much more interesting and detailed history that could possibly be explored in a spin-off series.

6 Cara Dune

The Mandalorian 10 Potential SpinOffs

The Mandolorian has already provided some snippets of what Cara Dune’s life was before the events of the show came to happen, and perhaps she has earned the right to tell her story in a separate series now. The actress behind the character, Gina Carano, has proved her mettle through feature roles in various action blockbusters such as Furious 6 and Deadpool.

The series could follow her exploits as the newly promoted Marshal of Nevarro, and also her history as a shock trooper in the Galactic Civil War.

5 The Armorer

The Mandalorian 10 Potential SpinOffs

The Armorer’s time spent on screen was criminally short, as she is possibly killed at the end of the first season. Her role was an extremely crucial one as she forged Mando’s beskar armor early on in the show, without which he certainly wouldn’t have survived this long. Whether she’s still alive or not, and what happened to the other members of the Mandolorian Tribe such as Paz Vizsla are questions that need to be answered.

4 Boba Fett

The Mandalorian 10 Potential SpinOffs

Boba Fett is one of the most legendarily famous characters in the Star Wars and one that was thought to be dead until The Mandolorian brought him back into the picture in the most epic way possible. It was obvious from the start that the producers wouldn’t let go of such a popular character after just one show, and Disney has already announced The Book of Boba Fett among tons of other shows.

His and Fennec Shand’s story will certainly continue, and as per the after-credits scene of season 2, he is currently in control of the Hutt Empire.

3 Luke Skywalker And Grogu

The Mandalorian 10 Potential SpinOffs

The Mandalorian’s second season dropped a handful of bombs on its audience, but the one that truly blew people out of the water was the appearance of Luke Skywalker. He swooped in in the last few minutes of the finale and saved the day, and after an emotional and heart-wrenching scene, he took Grogu with him to train the green guy. It is a big question at the moment exactly how The Mandalroain will progress now that Grogu has left, but a series about him training with Luke and other younglings could be produced.

2 Mandalorian-Jedi War

The Mandalorian 10 Potential SpinOffs

The Mandalorians are not known for being a race of peaceful people, and over the years they’ve gone to war with many of the factions in the Star Wars universe. These events are just some of the many that fans have wanted a live-adaptation of for many years, and The Mandalorian could be the doorway to that. The Jedi Order won the war, and as a result, the Mandolorian home planet of Mandalore was destroyed. The second season of the show already made references to the Jedi-Mandalorian war, so a spin-off is certainly plausible.

1 Mandalorian Civil War

The Jedi, Sith, and the Galactic Republic aren’t the only groups that Mandalorians have fought with over their lengthy history, they’ve also engaged in wars among themselves. Two groups of Mandalorians, the modern pacifists and the “martial traditionalists” went to war over the control of the planet Mandalore. The former won and Bo-Katan’s sister Duchess Satine Kryze was made the ruler. The war takes place around the time of the prequel trilogy and Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon were involved, so the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series could consist of plot points taken from this as well.
